The unnamed narrator collects weird plants. His new prize is a weirdy shipped from the "blasted heath" region around Arkham (cf. "The Colour Out Of Space"). It turns out to be a bad choice. The new plant kills his cat, then his neighbor. He kills and burns it. But it appears that may not have finished it...
